Mickey Mouse

The weather in HK is warm.

BUT, I must wear this scarf in the x'mas. It is because this is Mickey Mouse scarf and it is a gift from my little sister!!!!

I think my dad does a right choice to buy the flat here.

In 2006 summer, I have never turned on the air-conditioner because it is cool here.
In the past winters, I needed to wear more clothes when I went out. It is because here is always warmer than outside. I guess this year will be the same as the past.

A Team

I always think that I am working in the wrong industry. I think... this is because most people in the IT industry do not work as a team. (Silo)

People go to work with different goals they want. Some may want to get paid by showing up everyday, some may just go to work to play game, some may think they only need to perform what they are told to do,.... A lot of reasons...

I realize I am facing a problem that people in my workplace are not having the same/similar goal, which is to work smart, to learn and to improve the work that we are doing, and to get new things happen.

I am trying to get a 'speeding' ticket, but no one else wants here. This is quite sad to understand this fact.

why HK is regressing

People at work are working just for $$$. They will ONLY do the minimum of work to ensure they have money deposited in their bank account every month.

what can i do?

I cannot motivate them to do EXTRA enhancement on the tool because they have set up the basic features on the tool.

I am very disappointed.
I don't believe all the HK people work like them. It is just my bad luck that this kind of people always in my workplace.

原來我現在也可以睡很久

I slept for 12 hours a day when I was in Columbus, from 6pm to 6am. I cannot believe that I can sleep that long after I start the working life. I always think that I can only do this when I was a student.

But last night, I fell asleep at 5am then woke up at 5pm again.

I attended a technical training in US Columbus in late Sept for a week. I stayed in Chicago to enjoy a relaxing weekend with my little sister.

The weather was wonderful. This is expected. I have the luck to travel with sunny nice weather. You can imagine that right after I got on the plane to leave, there was thurderstorm.

I went back home on 3-Oct. I think I have jet-lag. And I am still jet-lagging. Last night, I went to bed at 5am and I woke up at 5pm this afternoon. It is so amazing. I am going out to enjoy another weekend in HK. Bye for now.

The MBA Project report was submitted last week.

Now, I am working on the ITIL Practitioner exam on coming Monday.
Then, I will focus on the preparation of the MBA Residential trip at ChengDu in mid-Aug.


Don't forget about the work... lots of work pending to be follow-up and completed.

小孩不笨2(I Not Stupid Too)

I watched the movie this evening. I have the same feeling, I was one of the kids suffered in the past.

I realized I was suffering; I tired every mean to change my life.
Luckily, I met nice people to let me know my way I can go.

I cannot explain what we have done to my little brother to help him realize himself. But he changed and he is doing very well now. I don't need to worry about him until he graduates. (Another challenge to seek job)


Finished the last presentation in the MBA course this afternoon. Free!
I will still have class until middle of July. From now on, I will focus on writing. Writing the remaining reports....( I have been very lazy to complete the reports ;-P )

Some pressure from school, some from work.

The remote access is going to be cut because of the cost issue (USD50/month). This makes me to carry the laptop back home every night.
I really cannot afford it. I will consider not to work after office hour.

I remember I sweared once to my little brother in 2000. I got drunk and he worried about me very much. Then I kept my promise.

Great movie.

Especially if you have a little brother or sister. The movie can remind you how much you love them. You always protect them, worry about them and forgive them whatever they have done to make you mad.

My little sister is back in US

My little sister has arrived home safely.

She had stayed in HK for a month time. I think she did enjoy the time she stayed in HK, meeting friends and family, and shopping! HK is a wonderful place for living and vacation except the air pollution and crowded environment.

However, I didn't have much time to accompany her as I was busy at work and school. But I think she still had a nice vacation in HK.

She is a my only sister that understands what I say and think, and we has been living apart since the secondary school... I think it is destined.
