I have no idea what the working attitude of most of the workers are in HK now.
We are paid to work in the company.
We are not paid to sit in the company , do nothing, web-surfing or watch YOUTUDE at the workstation.
We are working in the company not only for the pay cheque, but also to contribute ourselves at work to build a better future for the company and the society.
I cannot understand why people come back office but try to use whatever stupid excuse to avoid to WORK.

NO! They are NOBODY~
The most serious issue is that I cannot believe/accept myself working in such environment now. My boss is helping to develop the career here. The people around in the office are having different working attitudes. I am not thinking to change their mind or follow them. I know I need to find a way out and stay away from those lazy people.

Different people have different goals in the office/career. Two ways to look at the issue - if you want to be leader and make a change to the current 'team culture' - you can try and if it
successful then you made an impact. if you are concern with your career path, this may not be the 'team' you want to be associated with. Or, you don't fit into this 'team culture'. if your boss knows your ability and value your presence, you could still 'contribute' to the organization. i think it's a complicated issue - plus there are other office politics or gossips ... etc... and there are things you cannot control. think about it as a normal bell curve, most ppl are just average and there are certain percentage of individuals who are 'extreme' (in your case, either work very hard, or very very lazy). there are many components/elements that make up a 'winning or performing' team. guess ppl 'not doing work-related tasks' at work is common across the globe.
hohoho...
i do think that it's necessary to stay away from lazy ppl.... definitely will get bad influence from them ah!! >.<
I will definitely stay away from the lazy people.
